What to Expect at Your First Visit
The team at Osuna Dental Care is dedicated to delivering exceptional care in a welcoming environment where you can relax and feel genuinely at ease from the moment you walk in.
When you arrive, you'll be greeted by our friendly front desk team. We'll provide you with new patient paperwork — a health questionnaire, insurance and contact information — along with details about how we handle patient privacy.
Your initial examination takes around one hour. Dr. Kim or Dr. Graham will ask about your oral hygiene routine, listen carefully to your concerns and complete a thorough examination of your teeth, gums and bite. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth as part of the visit.
We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make informed decisions about their oral health. We'll show you proper care techniques, answer every question and present clear recommendations for any proposed treatments — with full transparency on what's involved and what it costs.
Pain management is a priority at every visit. Before any procedure, Dr. Kim or Dr. Graham will meet with you to discuss your comfort level and create a plan that minimizes discomfort and gets you back to your day as quickly as possible. Patients with dental anxiety are always welcome — just let us know and we'll adjust accordingly.

Before anything begins, your dentist will meet with you to discuss your comfort level and create a personalized plan. No rushing, no assumptions.

What to Bring to Your First Appointment
Arriving prepared helps us get you seen on time. Here's what to have ready before your visit.

New Patient Questions — Answered
We accept most major dental insurance plans including Delta Dental, Cigna, Aetna, MetLife, Blue Cross Blue Shield, United Concordia, United Healthcare, Humana and Medicare dental plans. Centennial Care is currently not accepted. Call (505) 884-1989 to verify your specific plan before scheduling.
Bring a valid photo ID, your dental insurance card, a list of current medications and any known allergies or medical conditions. Previous dental records or X-rays are helpful if you have them. Arriving 10 to 15 minutes early gives you time to fill out new patient paperwork without feeling rushed.
Your initial exam takes about one hour. This includes a health review, digital X-rays, a professional cleaning by our dental hygienist and a full examination with treatment recommendations by Dr. Kim or Dr. Graham. Implant consultation patients also receive a complimentary 3D CBCT scan at no charge.
We accept cash, personal checks and major credit and debit cards. Flexible financing is available through Cherry, CareCredit and Sunbit — letting you split treatment costs into monthly payments.
